Biography
Vadim Kolganov was born in the village of Baranovka (Ulyanovsk region) in 1971. Parents tried to comprehensively educate the child, so he did not only go in for sports, but also attended the children's theater studio. At school, Vadim also did not miss a single performance, and some even directed himself. It is not surprising that he easily entered the directing department at the Orenburg School of Culture.
After graduating from special education and serving in the army, Kolganov got a job as an artistic director at the local Palace of Pioneers. He also continued his studies at a music school and once decided to go to Moscow to try to enter VGIK. Vadim successfully completed the test and was enrolled in the workshop of Marlen Khutsiev. Kolganov combined his student years with work at the School of Contemporary Play, and after receiving his diploma he got a job at the Theater. Stanislavsky.
In 2001, Vadim Kolganov made his debut on television in the series "Truckers". Following he starred in the film "Bastards" and the TV series "Tatiana's Day", which was released in 2007. Personal life
Vadim Kolganov has said more than once that he dreams of family happiness with an ordinary woman, connected with acting. Ironically, theatrical actress Ekaterina Goltyapina nevertheless became his wife. Vadim met her in 2001 during a vacation in Sochi and later struck up a relationship, unable to resist female charms. A year later, the lovers got married.
The couple have no children of their own yet. They live a leisurely life and travel a lot, as can be seen from photos from social networks. The actor is a frequent visitor to all kinds of film festivals, and Catherine provides her husband with support in his acting career: it was with her participation that Vadim Kolganov managed to find his own style, which helps him in finding the necessary film images. He is currently awaiting promising proposals.
