Step 1
Study in a self-study guide a drawing depicting all the octaves of a piano or piano. A person perceives a limited range of sounds by ear. Octave is a small part of this range. The piano keyboard has 88 black and white keys. In order not to get confused in such a number, you need to know that a full octave covers 12 keys or sounds. Find the octaves on the keyboard of your instrument and memorize their names: subcontract, counter octave, major, minor, first, second, third, fourth, fifth.

Find the sound "C" of the first octave on the keyboard - check with the picture in the tutorial. Opposite this sound, the pianist sits while playing.
Step 3
Find in the self-study guide how to spell the note "C" of the first octave. You already know where it is located on the piano. Scroll to the end of the tutorial: you will come across long pieces, some with the familiar C note. Find it on different pages of the tutorial and play the piano sound each time to remember it well. A note can look like an empty oval, a filled oval, an oval with a vertical stick - calm, an oval with calm and tails - ribs. Ignore this for now: Imagine that the note “changes depending on the weather,” so it looks different. But regardless of appearance, the C note of the first octave is always located in the same place on the staff, so you can easily recognize it.

Memorize one note every day: the challenge is to see the note in the tutorial and know where the corresponding sound is played on the instrument. Practice until you memorize all the notes well.

For further improvement, read a textbook on musical literacy or music theory. Even a cursory acquaintance with the theory will help you quickly understand the tutorial and master the tool. After a few months of training, you will confidently parse the piece by sheet music.
