Step 1
First you need to choose the right container for the parcel. It should be borne in mind that the "Russian Post" for some time now does not accept ordinary cardboard boxes for shipment. You will either have to buy a special container at the post office next to the house, or sheathe the existing ordinary cardboard box with white cloth according to the rules established by the mail.
In the first case, it is enough to determine which container to buy. In the post office, there are usually four types of packaging in different sizes. Choose one where the content cannot move. If there are still gaps between the contents of the parcel, you will have to seal the parcel with paper or packing bags.
Step 2
If you decide to sheathe an ordinary box with white cloth, follow these rules. A rectangle is cut out of white fabric into which the box can be completely wrapped. Then two seams are sewn on a sewing machine so that you get a long bag with one open edge. We put the bag on the parcel without turning it on the front side and put together the two corners of the bag on the sewn side. We fasten the corners of the bag together with a thread and a needle. We take out the parcel and turn the bag onto the front side. We put the parcel in it again. Sew the bag carefully with a blind seam from the open edge. We fold the ends of the bag and sew together from the front side. Only if the box is packed like this will your parcel be accepted.
Step 3
We sign the packed parcel as follows. The address and full name are written at the top. the sender in full and the index of the home post office is stamped At the bottom, the same is done with the recipient information.

Step 4
Now we choose the method of sending the parcel: with a declared value or cash on delivery. It is clear that cash on delivery is used only in business cases, when you send a parcel upon request with subsequent payment. For friends and family, it is enough to indicate the declared value of the parcel. The higher the specified value, the more expensive the shipping will be.
When shipping by cash on delivery, the sender will have to fill out a cash on delivery postal order form. The recipient undertakes to pay cash on delivery before receiving the parcel in his hands.
