Of course, the third part was supposed to be released in 3D, which happened, to the delight of fans of special effects.

This project was very risky, because the second part did not receive the same recognition as the first film. Agent Jay learns that the galactic shield to repel alien attacks is just a myth, and the protection itself does not exist at all. This legend was invented by the US government to avoid panic among the civilian population. The shield was supposed to be built by Agent Kay in 1969, but he did not have time to complete his work, as he was despicably killed.
The danger of alien enemies invading Earth gradually increases, so Agent Jay decides to travel back in time to save his friend and partner. Moving to the last century added character and atmosphere to the film: retro cars, hippies, appropriate music, etc.
In the third part of the famous film, new enemies and minor characters appear. The villain does not look like a standard alien insect, but has a very unusual appearance. It is with the help of the new character that the plot develops.
The space traveler, who was left without his home planet, also adds interest to the tape. This ironic character sees the future and can predict how this or that action may affect the further development of events.
In this film, the third agent in black appears - Warhol. His mission is to observe the aliens who have gathered in New York. The agent does not like such a task, and he dreams of returning. Out of boredom, he does completely meaningless things.
Agent J's journey is successful, and he safely rescues Kay, who has built a galactic shield. Along with this, Jay learns the secret of his birth.
