The third film, Men in Black, is a sequel to the famous American comedy. Starring all the same Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. The director was again taken over by Barry Sonnenfeld, executive producer behind Steven Spielberg. The film started in cinemas on May 23, 2012.
The role of the negative hero this time is taken by Jemaine Clement, he plays Boris. This is the felon who escaped from the Lunar Prison. He burns with hatred for Agent Kay, who in July 1969 caught the culprit and left him without an arm. When Kay suddenly finds out that Boris fled, he expresses great regret that then during his arrest he did not kill him. After that, the agent simply disappears, and only his partner Jay remembers that he existed. The rest of the staff in black think that Kay died in a confrontation with some criminal in 1969.
The only explanation for such a reversal of reality is a change in the past. Jay and Agent O decide that Boris is involved. This is confirmed by another event of a cosmic scale - the invasion of the Earth by the Boris race. In the former reality, this was impossible, since Kay installed a protective device on the planet called "ArkNet". Now, in connection with the death of the agent, several decades ago, the Earth did not have any barrier from space enemies.
Jay discovers that Boris was sent to the past by Jeffrey Price, an electronics dealer who had an illegal time shifter in his arsenal. The agent has no choice but to travel back in time to save his partner. And he is immediately arrested by young Kay. During interrogation, Jay tells him everything, and the future partner believes. Together they find the Arkanian Griffin, who has the ArkNet. Now the three of them continue their journey and set off to install protection on the moon. But on a rocket they are arrested by the colonel. Now he becomes Jay's secret keeper.
From this moment on, events develop rapidly. The heroes meet with two Boris and a fight ensues. A criminal from the future is thrown into the rocket shaft, and young Boris is sent after him. Protection for the Earth has been established. And now, it would seem, Jay's mission is completed, but a young criminal who miraculously survives appears. The colonel dies, but Boris is also destroyed. And now a new character appears in the film. A boy gets out of the colonel's car and starts looking for his father. The agent recognizes himself. Jay returns to his time and meets Kay at the cafe. Everything went back.
