Polish theater and film actor - Mikhail Zhebrovsky - is very popular not only in his country, but all over the world. His filmography is filled with numerous international film projects, including Russian ones. He is more familiar to the domestic audience for his films in the historical film "1612" (2007) by Vladimir Khotinenko and the comedy "In the style of jazz" (2010) by Stanislav Govorukhin.

Despite the fact that real recognition by the world community came to Mikhail Zhebrovsky through cinema, he considers himself more of a theatrical actor. His creative career took place with the Theater Studio named after S. I. Vitkevich, the Narodov Theater, the Comedy Theater and others. And in 2010 he founded his own theater "The Sixth Floor", where he himself is engaged in the education of young talents.

The famous Polish actor has a number of prestigious awards behind his shoulders: the winner of the Eagles award in the Best Actor nomination (films With Fire and Sword (1999) and The Witcher (2002)), as well as the winner of the Golden Duck awards and Eagles (drama Strikes (2004)).

Biography and filmography of Mikhail Zhebrovsky

On June 17, 1972 in Warsaw in a family far from the world of theater and cinema (father is a technician and mother is a doctor), the future artist was born. From early childhood, Mikhail showed interest in performing in front of the public, participating in various creative competitions and attending a circle of reciters.

After graduating from the general education lyceum in 1991, Zhebrowski entered the State Higher Theater School in Warsaw. Here he received his first experience in the acting profession. The television performances "We Rent a Room …" and "AWOL" became for him in 1993 his debut stage projects. A year later, there was already the first theatrical performance "Look Back in Anger" (the role of Jimmy Porter) on the stage of the Z. Huebner Theater.

Mikhail Zhebrovsky made his cinematic debut in 1996 with the film Poznan 56. And then the filmography of the Polish actor began to be regularly replenished with national and international film projects, among which I would especially like to highlight the following: Glory and Praise (1997), Pan Tadeusz (1999), With Fire and Sword (1999), The Witcher (2001), When the Sun Was God (2003), Blows (2004), Who Never Lived (2006), 1612: Chronicles of a Time of Troubles (2007), Jazz Style (2010), "The Road to Emptiness" (2012), "The Mystery of Westerplate" (2013), "Behind the Blue Door" (2017), "All or Nothing" (2017).

It is interesting that Mikhail Zhebrovsky has been studying music and vocals from an early age. It was this hobby that allowed him to record the disc "Pan Tadeusz in love" after the release of the film "Pan Tadeusz", and also to release the disc "I love it when a woman …" in 2001.

Personal life of the artist

Despite the huge army of fans of Mikhail Zhebrovsky, who have been persecuting him throughout his professional career, the status of “married” did not appear until the age of thirty-seven. The wife of Alexander Adamchik (marketer) gave birth to the happy father of two sons - Francishek and Henrik.

It is interesting that the Zhebrowski couple love to spend their holidays in their home in southern Poland, and the actor regularly reports news from his professional and personal life on Instagram.
