In the cultures of different nationalities and countries, as well as in literature and cinema, you can often find ambiguous pseudo-people - vampires. Vampires are evil spirits that originate from Eastern European legends. It is customary to call vampires the rebellious dead people who feed on the blood of animals and humans.

Who are vampires?

In modern mythology and mysticism, there are several explanations for the term "vampire". Some researchers argue that these creatures have an animal origin and feed on blood, while others are sure that vampires are part of something supernatural. According to ancient allegories, vampires are called demonic beings of a lower level, feeding on the blood of animals and people.

It is believed that these creatures hate daylight to horror - it makes them hide in their coffins during the daytime. But at nightfall, they go out to eat! According to legend, night is a great time to hunt mortals. A vampire can only be killed with a wooden stake (for example, a wasp) driven into this creature right into the heart. You can scare away vampires with garlic, a crucifix or holy water.

Vampire appearance

So many books and scientific treatises have been devoted to vampires throughout the entire existence of mankind that a library could be made of all this material. The German occult philosopher Georg Konrad Horst imagined vampires as follows: “Vampires are dead and cold bodies that inhabit crypts and graves. These creatures have thin and pale skin, long fangs, thin fingers and a huge appetite. They leave their coffins only at night to feast on the fresh blood of living people. This allows them to keep themselves in excellent condition while continuing to live. Unlike other living dead, vampires are never exposed to decay."

In general, most vampires look the same: pale skin, bright scarlet lips, and protruding fangs. It is curious that the modern image of the vampire is somewhat different from the classical representations. The fact is that modern artists, screenwriters and directors portray female vampires as stunning and seductive girls: well-groomed hair, sexy makeup, expensive and stylish clothes. Modern male vampires do not lag behind their companions in beauty: they are metrosexual guys with long styled hair, a graceful and flexible figure, with a beautiful face, etc.

But no matter how people describe and characterize vampires, a distinctive feature of all bloodsuckers without exception is the presence of very long and razor-sharp fangs, which they use to bite through the delicate skin of their victim. It is curious that vampires suck blood not through their fangs, but with their mouths.
