Yuri Yakovlev is a theater and film actor beloved by all Russians, People's Artist of the USSR and just an unusually gifted person. He lived a long and interesting life, leaving behind a huge layer of his creative work.
Biography
Yuri Yakovlev was born in 1928 in Moscow and was brought up in a simple Soviet family with two brothers and a sister. The parents of the future actor divorced, and his mother put him on his feet. They went through a difficult time of repression and difficult war years. At that time, the family moved to Ufa, where Yuri received his first experience of working in a hospital, where he helped the wounded together with his mother. After the war, they returned to Moscow, and the future actor received a minor position at the US Embassy.
The young man's first sensible decision was an attempt to enter the Institute of International Relations and become a diplomat. However, the desire and love for creativity won: Yakovlev submitted documents to VGIK. Having received a refusal, he did not give up and tried again, but already at the Shchukin school. With a creak, the young man was admitted to the course of Cecilia Lvovna. In the future, Yuri also did not show the proper talent in acting. He had to work hard to improve his grades. Finally, having received his education, Yakovlev got a job at the Academic Theater. Vakhtangov, starting his way up the career ladder.
In the 1950s, Yuri Yakovlev's fame as a talented actor gradually grew. A few years later, the already experienced artist began attending screen tests. For Yakovlev, the image of a comedian was entrenched. So in the 70s and 80s he shone in films that do not need introduction: "Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession", "The irony of fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!", "Kin-dza-dza" and many others. At the beginning of the new century, the age and health of the actor no longer allowed him to participate in active filming. He was involved in voice acting for television and film projects, and also returned to the beloved role of Hippolytus in the sequel to the film "Irony of Fate …", which was released in 2007. In 2013, Yuri Yakovlev died quietly and was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
Personal life
Having become a famous actor, Yuri Yakovlev was very popular among women. For the first time, he married a medical assistant Kira Manchulskaya. They lived together for ten years, and a daughter, Elena, was born in marriage, but Yakovlev chose to leave the family for actress Yekaterina Raikina, who bore him a son, Alexei. This relationship lasted three years, after which Yuri Yakovlev entered into a third marriage with a museum worker Irina Sergeeva.
The third beloved woman in the life of an actor gave him a son, Anton. This marriage lasted as much as 40 years, and the couple was separated only by the death of Yuri Vasilyevich. It is known that the artist was very fond of his children and always tried to make them creative personalities. He succeeded: they all decided to connect life with an acting career.
