Some experts are inclined to argue that literary creation is becoming less attractive in the age of information technology. However, the activity of Dmitry Lvovich Bykov fundamentally refutes this thesis.

early years

Attentive readers and meticulous critics have long noticed that some writers and poets writing in Russian become famous after their death. In the last decade, this tradition has begun to fade and shrink. The removal of censorship and publication restrictions allowed a large number of "pen workers" to express themselves at the top of their voices. A striking example of this is the creative fate of the modern writer and television presenter Dmitry Bykov. His energy and efficiency evoke sincere respect from both admirers and ill-wishers.

The future poet and novelist was born on December 20, 1967 in an intelligent family. Parents lived in Moscow. His father worked as a dentist, and his mother taught Russian language and literature. Dmitry owes his passion first to reading books, and then to writing. She instilled in him a taste for good books as best she could. At school, Bykov studied easily and only excellently. Having received a certificate of maturity and a gold medal, he effortlessly entered the journalism department of Moscow State University.

Multi-vector creativity

After the second year student Bykov was called up to serve in the armed forces. He had to serve in the navy. Returning to civilian life, Dmitry completed his studies at the university and received a red diploma. He began his career in secondary school as a literature teacher, where the young specialist was sent by assignment. Already in his student years, Bykov actively collaborated with the Sobesednik weekly, Ogonyok magazine, and Selskaya Nov 'newspaper. At the same time, he managed to write poetry, stories and conduct extracurricular activities with schoolchildren.

It is not surprising that Dmitry began to be invited to television. He was remembered by the audience as the host of the "Vremechko" program, the talk show "Oil Painting" and "Born in the USSR". Bykov devoted a lot of time and effort and continues to devote to the creation of thematic programs on the Dozhd TV channel. In recent years, he regularly broadcasts under the heading "Nobel", in which he talks about the achievements of the laureates of this prestigious prize.

Recognition and privacy

For his great contribution to the development of Russian literature, Dmitry Bykov was repeatedly awarded the “Big Book” “National Bestseller” and “Golden Pen of Russia” prizes. In addition to this, he writes down poems by Russian poets for the radio.

The personal life of the writer and TV presenter is not stable. To date, he is married to a third marriage. From his second wife he has two children - a son and a daughter, from the third - a son. Dmitry Lvovich Bykov remains an energetic, hard-working and young-minded person.
