Anton Vladimirovich Shunin is a Russian footballer playing as a goalkeeper. He plays for Dynamo Moscow and is the team captain. Since 2007 he has been involved in games for the Russian national team.
Biography
In January 1987, on the 27th, the future goalkeeper and captain of the Moscow Dynamo Anton Vladimirovich Shunin was born in Moscow, the capital of Russia. The boy went in for sports since childhood, but he had a special interest in football. Most boys prefer to play offensively, and as a rule, they put the one who plays the worst at the goal. Anton differed from his peers in that he himself took a position in the frame and always defended the last line "one hundred percent".
Career
In 1994, luck smiled at the talented goalkeeper and he was able to get on screening at the respected Moscow club Dynamo. Shunin demonstrated his skills and was enrolled in the club's youth academy. The promising footballer honed his skills and played for the youth team for more than ten years before he managed to get into the main team of the "blue and white".
Shunin's professional debut took place in April 2007 in the Russian championship, when his team played a match against the Khimki team. In the same year, the talented goalkeeper was awarded the "Discovery of the Year" award. In total, this season Anton Shunin played 25 times to defend Dynamo's goal. The goalkeeper spent the next three seasons in rotation and played no more than 10 matches per season. In the season that started in 2011, Anton again took the main place in the "native" football team and played almost all the matches without rotation and substitutions. He also established two personal achievements at once: played 17 dry matches and did not concede goals for 461 minutes.
In November 2012, an unpleasant incident happened to Shunin: during the Dynamo - Zenit match, the guests' fans threw a firecracker at the goalkeeper. Anton received a severe burn on the skin of his face and both eyes, and also developed post-traumatic otitis media in his right ear, which led to a sharp decrease in hearing. The team from St. Petersburg was punished for this case with a technical defeat.
In 2016, the "blue-white" for the first time in their history entered the football national league (the second-highest championship in Russia). Anton was showered with offers from the Premier League teams to move to their club, but the keeper chose to stay in his home club.
During his long career, Anton Shunin has won many awards. In 2008, he became the bronze medalist of the national championship, in 2017, together with Dynamo, he took first place in the FNL and returned to the Premier League again. In 2012, Shunin won the silver medal in the Russian Cup.
Personal life
The famous footballer was married to a girl named Veronica, the wedding took place in 2010. Two years later, they had a son, who was named Roman. In 2014, the couple divorced, the scandalous divorce proceedings with the redistribution of property and a showdown immediately became public. The initiator of the divorce was Shunin's wife Veronica, according to her, he devoted too little time to his beloved wife and obeyed his parents in everything.
