Chewing gums, and especially inserts and stickers made from them, were a favorite pastime of children growing up in the 90s. Many people even now like to feel nostalgic about the times of their youth, and a considerable number of gum lovers have preserved collections of inserts.

Love is …

Probably the first gum that comes to mind when talking about 90s gum is "Love is". Liners made from it were especially popular, especially among girls. The chewing gum itself could have several different flavors (banana, cherry, orange, chocolate, mint, raspberry), it was soft and aromatic. Great bubbles could be blown out of it!

The insert was rectangular; it depicted a boy and a girl in love in different situations. The signature for each insert began with the words: "Love is …", then there was a picture, and below the continuation of the inscription.

Turbo

Another chewing gum preferred by boys was Turbo. The gum itself had a peach flavor and was pretty tough, but here's the earbuds! The boys appreciated them very much.

All chewing gum was appreciated by Soviet children, mainly for inserts. They even played the role of a kind of "money".

Inside each gum was a rectangular insert on which a photograph of a car or motorcycle could be seen. The Turbo had several series, each of which was dedicated to a specific water of the vehicle.

The gum was originally called "Turbo", but later there were three variations of it: "Turbo Super", "Turbo Classic" and "Turbo Sport". Each type corresponded to a specific type of car. It was possible to collect all Turbo earbuds or to prefer only a certain series.

Donald

Donald chewing gum has always had a special status. The fact is that it was quite rare, unlike the two previous ones, which could be bought everywhere. And the Donald chewing gum itself was very tasty, and this taste did not disappear in the first minutes, but lasted for a very long time. And even when chewed for a long time, Donald did not change its consistency.

Few people know that Donald gum was produced in Holland, unlike many others that were made in Turkey. Sometimes chewing gum was also called bubble gum.

Usually no one said that he collects inserts, they were "collected".

Especially "Donald" was appreciated for the insert. It was always a small comic strip about the adventures of the famous duckling. There were 3 or 4 pictures on it. The inserts from Donald changed, and the more characters were depicted in the pictures, the more this little piece of gum was valued.

The number of series of these inserts is quite large, while it was never known exactly at which number the series ended. The collectors believed that if more new numbers do not come across in a particular series, then it can be considered complete.
