Evgeny Zharikov is a Soviet and Russian actor, holder of the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR. His biography was glorified by the films "Three plus two", "Born by the revolution", "It can't be!" and many others.
Biography
Evgeny Zharikov was born in 1941 in Moscow. The future actor's mother taught literature and Russian, and his father was a writer. In addition to Eugene, five more children were raised in the family. His childhood fell on difficult war years. The boy early became addicted to reading and creativity. Parents insisted that after school he entered a technical university, but curiosity led Eugene to VGIK, where he was successfully enrolled in 1959.
In his student years, Evgeny Zharikov has already started acting in films, making his debut in the film "And if this is love." As a third-year student, he played the famous Andrei Tarkovsky in the film Ivan's Childhood, and already closer to graduation he played one of the main roles in the comedy Three Plus Two. The film glorified the young man, who began to predict a great future. Having received his education, Zharikov played in several more popular films: "Angel Day", "It Can't Be!", "Mysterious Monk" and others.
In 1974, the actor played the role of detective Nikolai Kondratyev in the serial film Born by the Revolution. The image shown by him instantly became the idol of thousands of Soviet people. In the future, it was the role of the military that the actor gave the best. In the 1980s, films such as "The Secrets of Madame Wong" and "Seven Hours Until Death" were released, and by the beginning of the new decade, Zharikov was appointed President of the Guild of Actors in Soviet Cinema, which he remained until 2000. Later he played in the films Bless the Woman and Hostages of Love, and also worked on the dubbing of various projects.
Personal life and death
The stately actor Yevgeny Zharikov has always been spoiled by female attention. Despite his amorousness, he tried to carefully choose his life partner. The figure skater Valentina Zotova became his first wife. The marriage turned out to be quite ordinary and childless, which forced the spouses to divorce after 12 years of marriage.
Yevgeny Ilyich met his second wife, actress Natalia Gvozdikova, in 1973 during a regular filming. They met more than once on a common set, including on the film "Born by Revolution". So friendly relations gradually developed into romantic ones. After a long-awaited but modest wedding, the couple had a son, Fedor. This happened in 1976. The actor lived with his wife until his death.
Evgeny Zharikov has two children born out of wedlock. This is a son and daughter who were born during an affair with journalist Tatyana Sekridova in the 90s. She told about this after his death. As it turned out, Zharikov's legal wife knew about this, and he himself was torn between his family and children on the side for a long time. Evgeny Ilyich died in 2012, having suffered a stroke and cancer, and was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
