The Moscow International Film Festival has been held in the capital for over 30 years and every year it becomes one of the most important summer events in the world of cinema. The program of the event is divided into several competitions and includes screenings of films by not only domestic but also foreign directors.
Visit the official website of the Moscow International Film Festival. The dates of its holding in the current year are indicated in the upper left part of the main page.
Find the "Schedule" section located in the horizontal menu at the top of the main page, click on this button.
Examine the MIFF program in the window that opens. Note that the opening film and the closing film are highlighted on separate lines. In order to find out which films claim the first place in the main competition or participate in the projects "Perspectives", "Short Film" or "Documentary Films", click on the corresponding section. You will be presented with a list of films participating in the corresponding competition this year, they are listed in alphabetical order with dates and times of screening.
If you are interested in screenings held within the framework of the film festival on a specific day, select sorting by date in the "Schedule" section and click on the day you are interested in.

Specify the names of the cinemas where the films participating in the Moscow International Film Festival will be screened. Opening and closing, as a rule, takes place in the Khudozhestvenny cinema, films participating in the main competition are shown there and in the Oktyabr Multiplex.
