"The Dark World: Equilibrium" is a television series in the urban fantasy genre, based on the film of the same name, the script for which was written by famous science fiction writers Marina and Sergei Dyachenko. The film was released in December last year and gained great popularity, which prompted its creators to shoot an extended version in the form of a television series.
Project idea worth seeing
The idea of creating the series originally belonged to Vyacheslav Murugov, who highly appreciated the film "The Dark World". It was decided to shoot a prequel for him, but in the process of work Sergei and Marina Dyachenko wrote a script that made the television series "The Dark World: Equilibrium" an absolutely independent product with a different plot and new characters.
From the film in the series, only the sorcerer Alexander was left, whose role is played by another actor, as well as the building of the collapsed university from the vision of the heroine of the film "The Dark World".
After finishing work on the script, its creators, together with the director and producer, decided to turn their new idea into a full-length film, from which the "Dark World: Equilibrium" series subsequently "emerged". Popular young Russian actors Maria Pirogova and Pavel Priluchny played the main roles in the prequel. Their characters are very fond of the audience.
The plot of the television series

The magical organization invites Dasha to work, where her job is to hunt nightmare Shadows and return them back to the Dark World, the focus of horror and darkness.
Dasha manages to reveal several Shadows, save people from them and fall in love with the guy she saved by the name of Semyon, who has his own secrets, which he himself does not yet suspect.
The work of Dasha and the magical organization decides to interfere with the ancient magician Alexander, who decides to open the portal doors to the Dark World and release all the Shadows from there in order to enslave humanity with their help. But Dasha, who has special power, prevents him from accomplishing his plans. Despite the villain's sophisticated tricks, Dasha and Semyon pass all the tests.
