Biography
Stevie Gee was born in 1980 on May 30 in the small village of Whiston, Merseyside. As a child, he did not show any hope in football, moreover, he had such defects that the road to football is simply closed. Gerrard was born clubfoot, which in itself is unacceptable for a football player, and he also had back problems. Nevertheless, he coped with the problems and began to play football. The first team of the young footballer was the Whiston Juniors club in his native village.
When Stephen was eight years old, Liverpool breeders began to look closely at him. So in 1987 Gerrard was in the youth team, one of the most famous clubs in England. Thus began the formation of the future star of Liverpool. A huge job awaited the young athlete. His perseverance and dedication in achieving his dreams can be envied by the owners of much more high-profile careers.
Career
Gerrard played his first game for the first team in 1998, he came on as a substitute in the second half. Liverpool played against Blackburn Rovers. In just the first year, the future captain and mascot of the club had a chance to enter the field 13 times.
From the next year, the already famous Stevie G. began to appear regularly on the field and already on December 5, 1999, he first appeared in the protocol by scoring a goal for the main team of Liverpool.
