Biography
Yuri Gorbunov was born in August 1970 in the Ukrainian SSR in the city of Novy Rozdol, Lviv region. Mom, a teacher-educator, loved to play the bandura and was fluent in this instrument. From an early age she instilled in Yura a love of music. Thanks to her, he mastered playing the button accordion and guitar. He played instruments in amateur performances. He spent his childhood and youth in Ivano-Frankovsk, studying in an ordinary Soviet school. After graduating from it in 1986, he went to the capital - the city of Kiev. Thanks to a lucky chance, he is among the guys who are invited to the exam at the theater institute. With great success, he bypasses all applicants for admission and becomes a student at the institute.
Career
Gorbunov's career began with admission to the Kiev Theater Institute. He is an excellent student and graduates with honors in 1992. After graduation, Yuri's career developed very rapidly. After working for several years in the theater, he goes to television, which made him as popular as he is now.
The first starting program, which brought fame and popularity to Gorbunov, was a program on the 1 + 1 channel, which was called "Happy Chance". Prizes were raffled off on this live program. She was super popular with viewers.
