It can also be attributed to the pre-election situation in the United States on the eve of the next presidential elections to be held in November.
As you know, a bipartisan system has developed in the United States, therefore, at the final stage of the struggle for the highest political post in the country, two candidates take part, one from the Democratic Party and the second from the Republican Party. The Democratic nominee is the incumbent President of the United States, Borak Obama, who, according to the Constitution, has the right to take this post again. Mitt Romney, ex-governor of Massachusetts, is running on the Republican side.
The nomination of candidates took place at the congress of their parties. Both of these events became a spectacle that aroused the interest of the majority of voters from both sides. It is noteworthy that the spouses of both took part in the speeches calling on the congress participants to support the candidacies of Romney and Obama. Both of them spoke about the high moral and ethical qualities of their husbands, and many experts noted that their sincerity greatly helped in the nomination of both politicians as candidates.
The election race between Obama and Romney is quite tense, and at the moment there is no clear favorite. If at the beginning of the election race Obama's rating was slightly higher, then in the first week of September the popularity of both candidates became equal - according to polls, 45% of voters are ready to vote for each.

Public debate awaits them in October, and they must enlist the support of ordinary Americans, learn about their worries and aspirations, and take into account the wishes in their policy statements. Of course, the main problem that worries Americans is the economy and, in particular, the growing unemployment rate.
Both Obama and Romney talk about unemployment and promise more jobs. If elected, Romney promises to provide job opportunities for 12 million Americans. He criticizes the economic policies of the incumbent and says that the government is doing nothing to restore confidence in the future to the people. The President, in turn, criticizes the Republicans, who, having a majority in Congress, simply block all his proposals to improve the economic situation.
Now the struggle is entering its final stage. In the coming weeks, the American population will have to decide on their preferences and, whatever that choice may be, it is hoped that no one will be able to falsify its results.
