Childhood
The biography of Nina Vasilievna Panteleeva confirms the well-known truth that the Ural land is rich not only in minerals, but also in talented people. The future pop singer was born on December 28, 1923 in a working class family. Parents by that time lived in the capital of the industrial Urals, the city of Sverdlovsk. On the professional stage
Despite the fact that the war rumbled far in the West, the situation in the city was reminiscent of the front. Echelons with wounded soldiers arrived in the Urals every day. Schools, palaces of culture and other administrative buildings were used as hospitals. Nina Panteleeva independently drew up a program of performances in hospital wards in front of the wounded. In 1946, the composer and singer became the winners of the All-Union Pop Artists Competition. After such a success, Nina Vasilievna was admitted to the Ural State Conservatory. In 1950, having received a diploma, Panteleeva went to work at the All-Union Touring and Concert Association to start a solo career. By that time, she already had sufficient experience for independent "swimming". Soon the singer began to work with the accompanist Willie Berzin.
