It happens that things and money start to disappear in a proven and well-worked team. That is, a thief has appeared! Everyone begins to look sideways at each other, discuss this topic in a circle of trusted persons. Verdicts are rendered that rarely have a basis. Relationships deteriorate. The team is falling apart. How to identify a thief?
Instructions
Step 1
Analyze all situations, write down the dates, times and circumstances, if possible, all the disappearances. Establish the nature of thefts: how often, what value, or what amounts are lost. Draw a circle of suspects. Who had the opportunity to commit these thefts.
Step 2
Hire a specialist. It can be the police (if the cost of things and the amount of missing money is significant), it can be a private specialist - a private detective. You can hire specialists who will test your team for a lie detector and identify the thief.
Step 3
Having outlined the circle of suspects, observe. Unfortunately, only a red-handed catch is an effective measure. Therefore, analyze, observe. If possible, install surveillance cameras.
Step 4
Catch the thief with live bait. Where things and bags are folded, install a hidden camera that only you know about. Spread a rumor that you have a significant amount of money in your bag if the thefts were serious before. If the thefts were minor, then, most likely, a kleptomaniac is acting. Then you need to act differently.
Step 5
Establish psychological portraits of all persons you suspect. Call your previous job or try another way to find out more about these people. Perhaps, where they have been or have worked before, theft also happens or has happened.
Step 6
Look at the fingers of your team members (if you limit the circle of suspects to this particular circle). Palmists say that a very large thumbnail indicates the ability to steal. The nail is so large that it seems to "encircle" the thumb, occupying almost the entire upper phalanx. But don't jump to conclusions! Form your opinion only on the basis of all the steps taken. This is the only way to get the most complete and clear picture. The conclusions of palmistry are not an evidence base.
