Biography
Born in Brooklyn, New York. Father worked for American Express, mother was engaged in housekeeping and raising three children. As a child, he served at the altar in the Catholic Church.
When the boy was 9, the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from high school, he entered Arizona State University, where he continued his education for 2 years.
Career
Kimmel's first radio appearance was when he was in school, Jimmy was interviewing for the evening show. While studying at the university, he became a popular presenter of the daytime broadcast.
In 1989 he became the co-host of the popular morning show "The Me and Him Show".
In 1997 he began his television career as a co-host on the game show "Win Ben Stein's Money". Sparkling humor and the ability to evoke sympathy from the audience brought Kimmel great popularity. Simultaneously with the filming of the show, he is engaged in producing other entertainment shows.

In the same year begins dating Molly McNeerley, Jimmy's companion on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The couple got engaged in 2013 and married in 2041. A year later, they had a daughter, Jane. The couple's second child, Billy, was born in 2017. The boy was diagnosed with a rare heart defect at birth. The child was operated on when he was three days old.
