From the first day of his birth, this man was considered terribly offended by God. After all, he had neither arms nor legs from birth. But Nick Vuychich managed to survive, overcome all adversity and devote his life to serving people and the Lord.
Nick Vuychich's parents at the end of 1982 were looking forward to the birth of their first child. When his father, who was present at the birth, saw the absence of one hand in the newborn baby, he ran out of the maternity ward in horror.
- Does my child have one hand? - he asked after a while at the obstetrician who took delivery.
But what could the doctor, who himself was in shock, answer to this? An experienced obstetrician did not dare to say that the newborn does not have both arms and both legs.
Pain and suffering
One can only imagine what Nikka Vujicic's parents experienced in the first months of his life. The boy was born with a severe pathology. He was stripped of all four human limbs. But the Vuychichi couple bravely passed this test. They did not leave their son alone in trouble. They did not abandon the child, despite the advice of numerous well-wishers. So Nick lived the first years of his life, surrounded by the care of his parents who love him.
But the real problems came when the boy went to school and began to communicate with his peers. In addition, the boy's father insisted that his son study with healthy children.
Communicating with healthy peers, Nick began to realize much deeper his inferiority and began to experience suffering and pain. More and more often he fell into deep depression.
He made his first and last suicide attempt at the age of eight. But, imagining a picture of his own funeral and the grief of his parents, he abandoned this venture forever.
Life purpose
From childhood, his parents tried to introduce Nick to the Christian faith. With such terrible physical disabilities and the resulting physical and mental suffering, it was not so easy for him to believe in God's grace. And nevertheless, without any outside influence, Nick once came to the conclusion that if God did not create him that way, then it means that he needs him for something. And he begins to look for this purpose in life.
Once, when Nick was already studying at the university at the Faculty of Financial Law, he was offered to speak to students and he agreed. For Vujicic, this was the first public appearance. He talked long and long. He spoke about life, about God, about everything that he knew about all this himself.
After his performance in the hall, many were crying. And then Nick realized that his life purpose was to be an orator, a preacher.
Since then, Vujicic's life has changed significantly. As the spiritual leader and chairman of the non-profit organization Life Without Limbs, he travels a lot around the world giving speeches to various audiences. He is engaged in literary creativity a lot. In a word, it performs such a volume of work that even many healthy people cannot do. And in 2012, Nick married a Japanese beauty Kanae Miahari.
