It is no secret that the army recruits completely physically healthy conscripts. Flat feet can easily become the reason why the conscript is waiting for release from service.
Firstly, soldier's boots are sewn under the correct arch of the foot, and a person with leg problems will be uncomfortable in them. It is worth remembering that soldiers have to walk, run and stand a lot.
The situation could be saved by an orthopedic insole, which is usually used by people with flat feet in civilian life. However, not for severe foot defect.
A young fighter with flat feet, who wears ordinary tarpaulin soldier boots, will sooner or later begin to experience severe pain due to the increased deformity of the foot.
Secondly, excessive loads on the feet, which young people are subjected to in the army, lead to problems with the kneecaps, the hip joints and the lumbar spine also suffer.
Sometimes such problems can even lead to disability. To avoid such consequences, at the recruiting offices they turn back home with flat feet.
