A distant start

A tradition has developed on Russian soil according to which every man should master a military profession. Citizens of our country serve in the clouds, on land and at sea. Alexander Sergeevich Bogachev was born on October 24, 1955 in an ordinary family. Parents lived in the town of Podolsk near Moscow. His father worked in a closed factory, and his mother worked in a famous sewing machine factory. From an early age, the child was taught to work, to be accurate and respectful to the elderly.

Bogachev's biography could have developed in different ways. Like many boys, Alexander dreamed of becoming a military man. I studied well at school. He was actively involved in sports. He took part in public life. He knew how to find a common language with classmates. Having received a certificate of maturity, he submitted documents to the selection committee of the Leningrad Naval School. However, the points he received in the exams were not enough to get into the number of cadets.

In the service of the sea

At the age of eighteen, Bogachev was drafted into the army. According to the order, the conscript was sent to the naval service. A year later, the sailor submitted a report to the authority and he was transferred to a diving school. Having received a specialized education, the young lieutenant arrived for further service in the Northern Fleet. The service career of Alexander Sergeevich developed progressively, without disruptions and failures. The warhead of the submarine, which he commanded, always fulfilled the specified standards in the exercises.

In 1981, based on the results of large-scale exercises, Lieutenant Bogachev was awarded the medal "For Military Merit" and was promoted ahead of schedule. It should be noted that military equipment is regularly upgraded and updated. This is a forced process, since the fleet of a potential enemy is also "not standing still." In his practice as a commander, Bogachev uses his professional knowledge and does not give up creativity. Another important element of management is close and regular contact with the crew.

An outline of a private life

When it comes to the private life of sailors, you can learn and hear many different stories. It should be noted that Alexander Sergeevich unambiguously and forever linked his fate with the sea. Yes, there was an attempt to start a family. But it didn't work out. The wife did not wait. No children were born. The husband was left alone. Only love for the sea and his ship kept him afloat.

The annals of the history of the navy will include the rocket firing of 1995. The submarine under the command of Bogachev surfaced at the North Pole and performed training missile firing at the given coordinates. A couple of years later, in one ascent, 49 missiles were fired from the boat, which had to be detonated in the atmosphere. Captain First Rank Bogachev was awarded the Order of Courage and Order of Merit for the Fatherland. Alexander Sergeevich died on February 15, 2015 from a heart attack.
