early years

Aslan was born in 1937 in the Georgian capital. A nineteen-year-old boy, a recent high school graduate, received his first term for disobeying the police. After a year and a half, the convict was free.

At the beginning of 1959, Usoyan was convicted of robbery, but his five-year term ended in early release. Once free, the criminal engaged in currency transactions, theft from the pockets of Soviet citizens and very soon received the title of "thief in law." It is still unknown what helped this: the proximity to the criminal authority Ilo Devdariani or the large sum that Aslan paid.

Crowned thief

A new verdict arrived at the end of 1966 for speculation. And again, early release allowed Aslan to return home for two years. His main occupation was shady operations, fraud and counterfeiting of gold coins. He imposed a tribute on guildmakers, thimblers and made important acquaintances among Georgian officials and policemen.

In 1984, Aslan received the longest term in his biography. The court accused him of forgery and drug possession. Usoyan ended up in the infamous White Swan prison in Perm. This was followed by stages to Omsk, Sverdlovsk and Nizhny Tagil. An unspoken agreement that the convict signed with the administration of the colony gave him the right to maintain order and become an influential authority, nicknamed "Ded Hasan". He crowned his nephew Temur named Timur and gave him powers. When youth groups of athletes appeared in the 90s, the newly minted "thief" put together his team and became an overseer of Sverdlovsk. Over time, the Hasan clan controlled the entire territory of the Urals. His working methods were tough. He severely punished those he disliked or handed them over to law enforcement officers.

Dashing 90s

In 1991, Hassan was released, helped by a bribe and the influence of patrons. The picnic, arranged for the release, was in fact a meeting of crime bosses on the issue of dividing spheres of influence. The North Caucasus became Usoyan's "fiefdom", then his interests extended to Kislovodsk, Sochi, and Ukraine. He provided assistance to Abkhazia during the armed conflict with Georgia, supplied weapons to the militants of Kurdistan. Hasan strengthened his own influence when a bloody massacre broke out between the Ural groups.

In the mid-90s, Usoyan settled in St. Petersburg. In criminal cases, he acted as an arbiter and peacemaker, he was called to all important meetings of "authorities". After the death of the legendary Yaponchik, Usoev kept the thieves' cash desk and gained even greater influence. Very soon, Aslan's interests were drawn to Western Europe, the Baltic states and Israel.

Against the Oganov clan

The second half of the 90s was marked by a real win of the Khasan clans and the Oganov brothers. Rudolph and Vachikos accused Aslan of embezzlement of funds, he was stripped of his title in absentia and received the support of influential thieves. The confrontation flared up due to the influence in Krasnodar and several murders. First, a close friend of the Oganovs died in Moscow, then shots rang out in the northern capital, and an employee of the city's Legislative Assembly, close to Khasan, was killed. During the trial, Aslan was arrested, he was released after a large bail. This was followed by several retaliatory strikes from the brothers and the clan of Ded Hasan. The killer's bullet found Rudolph and Vachikos, and in total on both sides, the clan war claimed a hundred and fifty lives.

War with the Oniani clan

In the first half of the 2000s, Usoyan tried to strengthen his presence in the vastness of the former Soviet Union. He crowned crime leaders in Moscow, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, a new conflict broke out between Usoev, this time with the "thief in law" Tariel Oniani or Taro. Hasan helped pay off debts, get loans, patronized markets, companies and gambling business. During this period, several of his friends and associates were killed, the main of whom was Vyacheslav Ivankov. Usoyan convinced the criminal circles that representatives of the Oniani clan were involved in these facts.

Last years

In 2010, Hassan was assassinated, he received two gunshot wounds. Once again, Tariel Oniani was the prime suspect. In 2012, Ilgar Dzhabrailov, Usoyan's subordinate, who was responsible for working with the special services and government officials, passed away. Then Ded Khasan's positions were shaken, and he became isolated. In the Urals, in the capital and Krasnodar, his interests were now represented by his nephews. A meeting was held behind the back of the famous "thief", at which a decision was made to eliminate him.

Usoyan's murder took place in January 2013 in the center of Moscow. Ded Hasan, according to his last will, was buried in his homeland in Tbilisi, next to his family. “Colleagues” remembered him as a just person, whose word was often decisive. He was distinguished by a quiet disposition and modesty, and when meeting with journalists, he called himself a simple pensioner. Khasan was always impeccably dressed, he was distinguished by a broad outlook. The crime boss had a personal life. The common-law wife Dulsha Avdoev gave birth to his son Nodari and daughter Nunu.
