An actress remains an actress even if she leaves the stage. For example, like Irina Feofanova, who passes on her experience to future actors. She played in the theater, starred a lot in TV shows and feature films, and then decided that the role of a theater teacher suits her best.
Irina was born in Penza in 1966, her parents were builders. She spent her childhood in this small town, and then the Feofanov family moved to Moscow. The children went to school, their parents worked, and no one suspected that the future actress lived next to them.
On the contrary, Irina had great success in natural subjects, she studied at a school with a biomedical bias, so she was predicted to be a scientist. No one knew that at the newsstand the girl caught sight of a postcard with a beautiful woman in a luxurious hat. She thought that only an actress could look like this, which means that she must become the same. It happened in the sixth grade, although the dream seemed unrealistic: Irina grew shy, she was even afraid to go out to the blackboard in class.
This is probably why Feofanova entered not a theater, but a construction university and at the same time passed the entrance examination at the theater studio "On Usachevka". Having entered the magical world of the theater, Irina could no longer study in construction - she took the documents and went to work as a postman so that she had something to live on.
A happy accident happened in her life: she was invited by Edward Radzinsky to play the main role in one of the productions. During this time she got a good experience and soon entered the "Sliver". Already from the second year, Irina began to play at the Maly Theater, as well as at the Moscow Regional Drama Theater.
Film career
Irina really liked the theater, and, according to custom, rather than a great desire, she put her photo in the Mosfilm card index. Here the second miracle happened: when she came to audition with Karen Shakhnazarov, in the corridor she ran into Edgar Khadzhikyan, who immediately took her to the main role. It was the film "No Time Limitations", where Irina played the daughter of an enemy agent.
At that time, she starred with many star actors, gaining even more experience. She was especially impressed by her collaboration with Innokentiy Smoktunovsky in the film Black Corridor. Later, the actress said that after these filming, she became a different person.
The most memorable and beloved by the audience the role of Irina Feofanova - journalist Lena in the film "Private detective, or Operation" Cooperation "(1989), where her partner was Dmitry Kharatyan, and the actress had the opportunity to try on several images. In the same year, Irina was recognized as the best actress of the year in Ekran magazine.
The actress herself calls the role of Irina the best role in the film "Restless Sagittarius" (1993).
Since the mid-90s, a big break begins in the career of an actress, and then Feofanova organizes a children's theater studio, which she still directs.
Personal life
In Irina's youth, a tragedy occurred: her loved one, whom she considered ideal, died. She and Sergei planned to get married, have children and create a wonderful family. The young man flew to Irina for the shooting, was very attentive. However, he died in a car accident.
Irina was very worried - for a whole year she did not act in films and did not appear in the theater, did not answer calls.
After this event, no one appeared in her life for a long time. And then there were two marriages: with directors Vladimir Fatyanov and Yevgeny Malevsky. About both of these marriages, she says that it made no sense to live together if there was no complete mutual understanding between the spouses.
But she also has no right to talk about loneliness: after all, her parents, brother and his family live nearby, and her “theatrical children” are always nearby, who come to the studio almost every day.
