So the debut role became a successful start in the cinema for the young actor.

Although at first the actor did not get serious and main roles, he often worked with famous directors in large-scale projects. Therefore, the name of John Christopher Riley became known not only among the audience, but also among film critics. The actor worked a lot with famous performers, learning acting from them and gaining experience in cinema. Among them were: L. DiCaprio, N. Kidman, T. Cruz and many others. Gradually his talent became more and more noticeable, and soon his work in the films "Chicago", "The Clock" and "Gangs of New York" were simultaneously nominated for an Oscar in 2003.

In addition to his hobby for cinema and theater, John studied music from a young age and loved to sing. Thanks to this, in the film "Ups and Downs: The Story of Dewey Cox," he not only played the main role, but also wrote a song for the film and sang it himself. For this soundtrack, Riley was nominated for a Grammy.

A few years later, the actor played one of the main roles in the film "Step Brothers", for which he himself wrote the script. And soon he started dubbing cartoon characters. The main cartoon character Ralph in the films "Ralph" and "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Ralph 2" began to speak in his voice.
