Biography

Aslan Sananovich Huseynov was born on September 22, 1975 in the Caucasus, in the city of Makhachkala. The boy spent his childhood on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Aslan's parents are from Derbent, a city in the south of Dagestan, and his grandfather has Iranian roots. His mother worked as a mathematics teacher at school, so the boy made progress in technical sciences from his youth.

While still a schoolboy, he became interested in music. With his family, Aslan often attended concerts and other creative events. His parents put him in a music school in his hometown, where he learned to play folk Caucasian instruments, including the tar, an Azerbaijani string instrument. Aslan was lucky - the famous musician Zafar Kuliev became his teacher. The young man took part in competitions for playing the tar, where he always won prizes, went to Russian festivals of folk music.

Immediately after that, he entered the music school at the vocal department. I was engaged in dancing for a year, but I could not reveal my creative potential through choreography. The young man tried to get all-round development: he tried himself in martial arts and in swimming.

At the same time, he began to write his own songs. The young man graduated from the university with honors, wrote and defended his dissertation and received the title of candidate of economic sciences. However, Aslan did not work by profession - instead, he decided to devote his life to art.

Member of the Dagestan KVN

In 1997, the TV show "The Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful" (KVN) gained great popularity. Aslan joined the university team “Makhachkala vagrants”, which was founded in 1996 by fellow students Andrey Galanov and Shaban Muslimov.

They created a new style of KVN with traditional Caucasian dances and songs. When the "Tramps" broke up, some of the participants united in the "Kinsa" gang - among them was Aslan Huseynov. In the group, he was the lead singer, and also wrote lyrics and music. In 2002, the group disbanded.

The first song written and performed personally by Aslan is “Where are you”. She quickly took the first lines in the charts of Russian radio and DFM radio stations. Major music channels began broadcasting a video for the song throughout the country and even beyond its borders - in Germany and Azerbaijan. Huseynov also released an English version of the hit. This opened the way for the song to foreign radio stations.

With this composition Huseynov was nominated for the Golden Gramophone award

Aslan's next work - the song “We'll start all over again” - also hit the DFM radio. In 2011, two hits of Aslan came out at once: "My God" and "I Know, I Know". Now the singer works at corporate parties, anniversaries and weddings in Moscow. Every year, the artist goes on a tour to the Baltic countries and neighboring countries. The artist rarely performs with a phonogram, but he has a positive attitude towards its use. In an interview for the magazine "Aksakal" he justifies such a performance: the audience, according to Huseynov, first of all evaluate the song, not the vocals, and it is difficult to set up a high-quality sound at concert venues in Russia.

The singer often takes part in charity events and organizes his own. One of Aslan's last concerts was dedicated to helping sick children - half of the proceeds from ticket sales were sent to a charitable foundation.

Among the new works of Aslan Huseynov are such popular compositions as "I will not forget you" and "We will start everything anew."
