Namaz is an obligatory daily prayer five times, one of the five pillars of Islam. Namaz is recited by both men and women, but in completely different ways.
Instructions
Step 1
In order for a woman to perform namaz, she needs to do a small ablution, observing all the necessary conditions for ritual ablution. When performing namaz, the entire body of a woman should be covered with a cloth. The exception is the face and hands.
Step 2
There are strict rules for the clothing in which a woman can perform namaz. The fabric should be opaque, and the clothes themselves should be spacious enough so that, firstly, they do not restrict movement, and secondly, they do not show the outlines of the body.
Step 3
Like men, women are allowed to visit the mosque, but it should be remembered that it is still recommended for women to read the prayer at home. The reason lies in an attempt to limit the joint gathering of men and women. In the mosque, women can read prayers during namaz if there is a separate room for them or a partition separating the rooms for men and women.
Step 4
Another feature is the recommendation for women to perform collective prayer. In this case, the role of the imam can be performed either by the husband, the guardian of the woman, or by a woman who can read the Koran. It is believed that collective prayer is a sign of equality for all Muslims, is a guarantee of compliance with all the requirements and rules for reading a prayer, and finally, it is more pleasing to Allah.
