Step 1
Before asking for a priest's blessing, decide if the job you want to take is important. It is hardly appropriate to ask the priest to bless you for the purchase of an apartment or a car, but for the creation of a family, the construction of an orphanage - quite. Because religion guides a person in his spiritual development, and people can solve material problems on their own.
Step 2
Remember that when you ask for blessings, you yourself are first blessing the Lord, and the priest is no more than asking God to grant you grace. And he cannot decide whether you deserve it or not. Try to come to church with a pure heart, freed from selfish thoughts and motives: do not seek profit, but pray for the sending of light, the direction of your actions.

If it is not possible to visit the temple, turn to the Lord on your own, blessing him. Believe in the power of God and do not doubt the justice of fate. Do not be afraid to be rejected by God: he does not forget about righteous people, even if he sends them trials.

There are situations when you need to ask for a parental blessing. For example, people who want to get married face this problem. If you want to start a new family, leaving your father's house, ask your father and mother for parting words, sincerely and simply turn to them with your request, without coming up with unnecessary words.

When the parents perform the rite of blessing, try to listen to their words, each not only memorizing, but also “passing” through yourself. It is very important that traditions are passed on from generation to generation, the understanding of the importance of marriage is preserved in the family. Do not rush to enter a new life, do not think that only your own experience is valuable and perhaps you will be able to avoid many mistakes.

Whatever blessing you ask for, remember that it is necessary to do it with a pure heart, sincerely believing in the power of the Lord and striving to be cleansed from sin and walk the righteous path. Otherwise, it is better for you not to seek a blessing, because you yourself have not yet been able to receive the Lord in your soul. Do not be afraid to make a mistake in the rituals: they are not the main thing, the main thing is faith.
