Biography
Veronika Plyashkevich was born in the Byelorussian SSR in 1984, in the town of Zhodino. Her family is far from the art world, and therefore her parents wondered where their daughter got such talents: she sang well, read poetry. And it was clear that she really liked all this.
At first, she showed her talents in school amateur performances, then she studied in a music studio. However, after school, Veronica decided to get an acting education and entered the Belarusian Academy of Arts.
She said in an interview that as a student she was madly in love with the theater. And she didn't even have a thought that it was possible to act in a movie. Moreover, the teachers did not approve of the combination of study and work on the set. She especially loved, and even now loves to play the roles of women with a difficult fate and strong character.
Career as an actress
After receiving her diploma from the Academy, Veronika entered the service at the Minsk Drama Theater. The beginning of her theatrical career was bright - she played the role of Catherine in the play "The Taming of the Shrew" and immediately received her first award. It was both a recognition of the talent of a young actress and a start in life: after that she had very interesting roles in theatrical productions.
It is logical that she was noticed by "cinematic" directors, and in 2007 Veronica had already starred in the film "Shield of the Fatherland". The film debut was also brilliant, and as a result - an invitation to roles from Russian directors. In addition, Veronica's photos appeared in magazines, on Internet portals, and everyone wrote about her as a rising star.
The following years were filled with work in the theater and at the same time filming in films. Another significant role came to Plyashkevich with the film At the Crossroads (2011). This comedy brought her fame, critical and audience recognition and a lot of invitations to other projects - she played her role so subtly and truthfully that it was simply impossible to play better.
Life has become eventful, difficult and interesting. For example, in 2012, Veronica immediately starred in ten films. And in four of them she had the main roles.
Her best films are considered the picture "Beauty and the Beast" (2014) and the series "Death to Spies. Fox hole "(2012). Recently, she has starred mainly in short films and television films.
However, the theater remains the main love of Veronika Plyashkevich, and she is happy that she is in demand in her favorite profession.
