Starting conditions

Sergei Aleksandrovich Buntman was born on June 30, 1956 in a family of Moscow intellectuals. In childhood, the child was no different from his peers. At the same time, he learned to read early and easily memorized poetry. There were many books in the house, and the boy studied them diligently. From an early age, the boy regularly listened to the radio. He especially liked the program under the heading “For schoolchildren”. Sergei was not very interested in how his peers live on the street. He had his own limited social circle among relatives and close friends.

When the time came, Sergei was sent to a school with in-depth study of the French language. He studied well. A foreign language was easy for him. He spent almost no time preparing for the rest of the subjects. It is interesting to note that everyone in the Buntman house was interested in football. In such an atmosphere, Seryoga could not help but grow into an active fan. His favorite team is the famous Moscow Spartak. He carried this passion and love for football to his gray hair. After graduation, he entered the Moscow Pedagogical Institute, the department of foreign languages.

Professional activity

In 1979, Buntman graduated, and he was hired as an announcer in the editorial office of broadcasting to foreign countries of the State Committee for Radio and Television. To get to such a position is not enough to know a foreign language. Morally stable and ideologically stable people were taken here. By his psychological type, Sergei did not belong to leaders or reactive natures. He liked to communicate with like-minded people, to be creative - to write poetry and put on stage performances.

Buntman's professional career was going well. For almost ten years, he was, as they say, “plowed” on the state radio. In 1990, friends and colleagues invited the seasoned presenter to the new radio station "Echo of Moscow". Sergey has joined the new mainstream with a great desire. The short biography of the radio journalist lists all the projects that he has implemented in the new location. Among the programs that have passed the test of time, it is enough to mention "Football Club" and "Minority Report".

Essays on personal life

In parallel with his work on the radio, Sergei Buntman was engaged in literary translations from French into Russian and vice versa. For his diligence in this matter, he was awarded the prize of the French Embassy in the Russian Federation. A few years later, he was awarded the Order of Merit again. Buntman also has a prize of the Union of Journalists "Golden Pen of Russia".

From his personal life, Sergei has never made an "informational occasion". How many times he entered into legal marriage, no one really knows. At the moment, the deputy editor-in-chief of the radio station "Echo of Moscow" is married. Husband and wife live in a home where love and mutual respect reign. He has four children - two sons and two daughters.
