In 2007, the actor was invited to the main role in the film "Favorite for Hire" directed by Yuri Stytskovsky. Igor Olegovich played the main character - the hapless actor Igor Voloshin, who is hired by an acting agency to play the role of the groom of the main character (played by Tatiana Abramova). The script of the film is rather mediocre, predictable, the plot, especially at the end of the picture, is not pleasant. Igor Petrov played his role masterfully. He even managed to smooth out many of the rough edges of the script. Unfortunately, this is the only main role of Igor Petrov in the cinema, perhaps because of this film.
