Step 1

By tradition, only Russian-language films competed. The creators of the film "Legs - Atavism" (director - M. Mestetsky) received prizes in three nominations at once. The short film won the Audience Award with the support of the film.ru website, especially the honorary prize of the Guild of Historians of Cinema and Film Critics and the Kinotavr prize in the genre of short films.

Director Taisiya Igumentseva received the Festival Diploma with the wording “For author's courage and non-conformism” for the film “The Road to”, and this work was also awarded a special prize from the Future Shorts program.

Step 3

Another diploma, this time “For a sense of style and cinematic culture” was awarded to Ivan Shakhnazarov for his work entitled “The Author's Method”. The special prize of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia went to Ilya Kazankov for the film "Boys".

Step 4

Mikhail Segal presented his film "Stories" at Kinotavr. This is a mysterious story about how the writer's manuscript, which got into the publishing house, affects the lives of the people who read it. The movie is divided into four parts based on the number of stories, and each story in the film is a separate genre, from comedy to thriller. This unusual work was awarded in the nomination "Best Screenplay" and was awarded with the diploma of the Guild of Historians of Cinema and Film Critics of the Russian Federation "White Elephant".

Step 5

The special diploma of the Kinotavr jury “For the unbearable lightness of being” went to Victoria Shevtsova for her work in the film “I don’t love you” (directed by P. Kostomarov and A. Rastorguev).

Step 6

The best music, according to the jury, sounded in the film "Convoy" (composer - A. Manotskov), A. Nigmanov's performance in it was also noted - he received the statuette "For Best Actor".

Step 7

The prize for the best female role was received by two actresses at once - Anna Mikhalkova and Yana Troyanova, they played the main roles in Avdotya Smirnova's film "Kokoko".

Step 8

The best debut of the festival jury was the film "Daughter" - a drama from directors A. Kasatkin and N. Nazarova.

Step 9

Finally, the main award of the 23rd Open Russian Film Festival "Kinotavr" was awarded to director Pavel Ruminov, the actors and the entire film crew of the film "I will be there."
