Chris Noth is an American actor best known for his roles in the TV series Law & Order and Sex and the City. He has twice become a nominee for the Golden Globe, as well as other prestigious film awards.
Biography
Chris Noth was born on November 13, 1954 in Madison, Wisconsin. His mother Jeanne L. Parr was a correspondent for the American television and radio company CBS. And father Charles James Noth worked as an insurance agent. He later took over as executive director of a marketing company.

Chris became the third child in the family. He has two older brothers - Michael and Charles. The actor received his higher education at Marlboro College. And then he defended his master's degree at the Yale School of Drama.
Career
Chris Noth made his acting debut in 1981. He played a small role in a thriller called Cutter's Way. After that, Noth appeared in the comedy film Waitress! (1982). Here he also got a minor role. After playing a few more small roles in films such as "Smithereens" (1982) and "Boyz In The Hood" (1982), the actor finally landed the lead role in an Indonesian film.
In 1986, Chris Noth first took part in a television project, playing Johnny Matthews in the detective drama Killer in the Mirror.
