To be a patriot of your country means not to remain indifferent in making common decisions. First of all, we are talking about elections. By law, polling stations open near the place of registration. But there are situations when a person is not able to vote by registration, but is obliged to fulfill his civic duty. In such a situation, you can vote elsewhere.

Step 1
In accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 17 of the Federal Law "On the Electoral Law", citizens who are on the territory of the precinct assigned to it have the right to vote subject to several nuances. Find out exactly where the polling station will be organized. As a rule, it is based in one of the nearby schools or other municipal organizations.
Step 2
Not later than three days before the start of the elections, contact the polling station. Provide your passport and apply for "to be included in the voter list" at this precinct. In the application, you must indicate the reason why you cannot vote on registration. A certificate confirming the impossibility of voting in the proper place is also attached.
Step 3
Contact the polling station at the place of registration with a request for an absentee ballot for voting at the place of residence / residence. On voting day, submit the absentee ballot together with your passport at the new voting place.
