Dmitry Aleksandrovich Koldun is a talented Belarusian singer and composer, finalist of the People's Artist-2 project, winner of the Star Factory-6 project of Channel One.

Biography

Dmitry Koldun was born on June 11, 1985 in the city of Minsk (Republic of Belarus). The family of the future singer was not much different from many others. Both parents are geography teachers. They have worked at school all their lives. The elder brother George is also a geographer by education. As a child, the boy first dreamed of becoming a doctor, and then a forensic pathologist. Therefore, in adolescence, the future singer went to a specialized medical class in the Minsk gymnasium.

At the age of 15, Dmitry Koldun took up a guitar, but he was interested in music as a hobby. He was fond of hard rock. Valery Kipelov, the lead singer of the "Aria" group, had a special influence on Dmitry. It was on his vocal techniques that the future singer studied. Dmitry finished school with a silver medal. In 2002 he entered the Belarusian State University at the Faculty of Chemistry. But at some point, he decided to quit university and go into show business.

Career and creativity

For the first time they heard about Dima in the fall of 2004, when he became a participant in a television show on the Russia TV channel "People's Artist-2". The singer did not win a prize, but reached the final and was remembered by the audience.

After the show, Dmitry returned home and worked for the State Concert Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus for two years, continuing to pursue a solo career. Took part in the festivals Molodechno-2005 and Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk.

In autumn 2005, Dmitry was selected for the Belarusian Eurovision Song Contest (Eurofest) to enter the international television contest Eurovision-2006. At the selection, Dmitry performed with the composition "Maybe", which he wrote himself, but he did not succeed.

In 2006 the Sorcerer went to Moscow and became the winner of the project of the First Channel "Star Factory-6". At the "Factory" Dmitry Koldun sang with the group "Scorpions" their song "Still loving you". And after the show, the Scorpions gave him a guitar.

After winning the "Star Factory-6" Sorcerer becomes a soloist of the renewed composition of the group "K. G. B. " (Sorcerer, Gurkova, Barsukov), but soon leaves the team.

Also in 2006, the Sorcerer played the role of Sasha in the Russian film Stepanych's Spanish Voyage.

In 2007 Dmitry took 6th place at Eurovision with Philip Kirkorov's song "Work Your Magic".

In 2007, the musician was invited to participate in the popular “Two Stars” program. At the same time, the artist receives the prestigious Golden Gramophone award for the song Give Me Strength.

The awards ceremony was held on February 1, 2008. The sorcerer won the "Sexy M" nomination and presented his new song "Princess".

On November 7, 2008, the Koldun together with his musicians performed as an opening act for the Scorpions group in Minsk.

In November 2008, Dmitry played the main role in the rock opera The Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta. In 2009, the Sorcerer re-enters the stage in the same role during the premiere of the film in St. Petersburg.

In 2009 Dmitry Koldun participated in the project of the Muz TV channel "Star went to …".

On February 9, 2009 Dmitry Koldun and Alexander Astashenok opened the Lizard recording studio.

On April 29, 2009, the first solo concert of Dmitry Koldun with a group, with "live" sound, took place in the city of Korolev (Moscow region)

On June 8, 2009 Dmitry Koldun performed with a concert program at the Kinotavr Film Festival (Sochi).

On June 25, 2009, the tenth ceremony of presenting the music award in the field of radio broadcasting "The God of the Air" took place in St. Petersburg. Dmitry Koldun was presented and won in the category "Radio Hit Performer" with the song "Princess".

From December 4 to December 10, 2009, Dmitry Koldun went on a concert tour around the cities of Belarus in support of his debut album.

In January 2017, the singer gave a live concert at the Murzilki LIVE show. In February of the same year, Dmitry performed in St. Petersburg with the Mannequin program in support of his new album.

On March 30, 2017, the Koldun presented the song "Angel" at the creative evening of Olga Ryzhikova.

In February 2018, on the eve of Valentine's Day, Dmitry Koldun releases a new single, Let's Play Love.

In 2018 in Moscow on the City Day, Dmitry presented his new song "On the streets of Moscow" to the capital.

Personal life

Since January 2012, Dmitry Koldun has been married to Victoria Hamitskaya. The couple had known each other since their school years.

On January 20, 2013, Dmitry and Victoria had a son, Yan, and on April 25, 2016, their daughter Alice was born.
