Evgeny Vsevolodovich Golovin is a writer, poet and metaphysician. He is the author of many essays on European poetry. A key figure in the intellectual underground of the 60s and 80s of the last century. One of the best translators of the works of Arthur Rimbaud. There are a lot of myths around the personality of the writer, so it is not always possible to separate his biographies from fiction.

Biography

Evgeny Vsevolodovich was born on 1938-26-08. Until the age of thirty, practically nothing is known about his life. It is mentioned that his mother was cold and did not really like children. They said about her "the snow queen", which played a certain role in the life of the writer. A little later, the Snow Queen will become one of the fundamental attitudes of the worldview of an adult man.

The famous writer was educated in Moscow, graduated from the Faculty of Philology. In his youth, he published various articles, prefaces to books, but did so under a pseudonym. He became the compiler of the book of works by Rilke published in 1971.

Evgeny Golovin was a person who did not pay attention to everyday life, since external factors did not affect his attitudes in any way. He believed that a man's home was not important. More essential is the ease and readiness with which a person is ready to go on a long journey at any moment. He did not like society and everything connected with it. He lost his passport once, but made no attempt to restore it for many years. He didn't care that in those days it was unsafe.

The outside world seemed to him unreal, someone's joke. This pushed him towards spiritual and mystical searches.

Evgeny had an older brother, Rudik. Due to constant hunger, he had a too thin physique. The future writer thought that the brownies living behind the stove were eating his flesh. The same legend was supported by my grandmother. The brother died in early childhood. In 1943, from Sverdlovsk, five-year-old Zhenya Golovin, who was dying of hunger, was taken by a relative, Julia Gershzon. They lived in Pleteshkovsky lane in two small rooms. By this age, Eugene already knew that they were left by a mother named Evgeny Vasilyeva, a beautiful and talented actress who abandoned her children in times of war and hunger, went in search of adventure. My father went to serve at the front.

It was very difficult for Yulia, Zhenya's adoptive mother, since she had children of her own. She noted that the boy grew up strange, things and gifts were immediately donated or exchanged. Mom took Zhenya to a psychiatrist. The latter suggested that the boy had a sluggish schizophrenia.

Personal life

Evgeny Golovin was married only once to Alla Ponomareva. The wedding took place when he was 23 years old. Having fallen in love with a fragile girl, he conquered her with poems and promises to take her to Eldorado. In marriage, they had a daughter, Elena.

After parting with his wife, the man never got married, but floated through life, sometimes "pampering" himself with various women. Why the husband and wife parted is still unknown, but he considered women confused creatures attached to everyday life and comfort. But he could not imagine life without them. In women, he was associated with drunkenness and disgrace. For Eugene, alcohol was a performance, an opportunity to escape from reality.

In the 90s of the last century he took an active part in the "Center" group. After that he wrote the work "Sentimental Frenzy of Rock and Roll". Together with Yuri Mamleev and Alexander Dugin, he was a member of the Yuzhninsky circle. It was a certain circle of people who gathered at Mamleev's apartment. He is known as a popularizer of Howard Lovecraft's creativity in Russia.

Incomplete list of works:

  • "Alchemy in the modern world: rebirth or profanation";

Since the beginning of the 90s, works have been published in various almanacs and collections, to which Alexander Dugin was directly related. He took an active part in programs broadcast on Channel One.

Golovin was not afraid of death. Once he told his daughter that he knew his forthcoming path, that everything would be fine with him. In recent years, I was very sick. His daughter invited him to use the services of an Orthodox grandmother, who knew how to treat various diseases. Eugene said that he was forbidden to use the services of Christians. He did not trust doctors either, noting: it is easier to die than to go through the hospital-hospital circles of hell.

In the last months of his life, he talked about the fact that inside a person there is absolute knowledge, which also applies to the body. In a very serious condition, he flatly refused the hospital. But his daughter handed him over to doctors. He died on October 29, 2010. Elena will tell a little later: five minutes before her physical death, she saw her father lying on the bed. Suddenly a cloud of fog began to gather over him. It thickened and disappeared. A few seconds later, the hospital called and reported death.
