Childhood impressions

In the last two decades, fundamental changes have taken place in the everyday life of an ordinary person. They began to think about what consequences await people in the near future with a logical type of thinking. First of all, journalists and writers presented their picture of the world. Andrei Yurievich Levitsky became addicted to literary studies during his school years. The future science fiction writer was born on April 16, 1971 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents lived in the city of Kiev. My father worked at a design institute. Mother taught history of literature at the university.

As a child, Andrei spent almost every summer with his grandmother, in the now infamous Chernobyl. The places here were beautiful. The forests are berry. The Pripyat River is clean and fishy. On its banks, Andrei "gave out" his first lines of poetry. Levitsky has pleasant impressions of the time spent here for the rest of his life. On occasion, he recalls with delight what size pike he caught on the hook. However, after the ninth grade, entry to the area was strictly prohibited. The accident at the nuclear power plant negatively affected the lives of many people.

Literary activity

In high school, Andrei felt an inner call to compose. And he did this writing in his free time. After school, Andrey decided to get a specialized education and entered the philological faculty of Kiev State University. However, he soon dropped out of school and took up more important, at the moment, affairs. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many large enterprises ceased their activities. Former engineers and hard workers took up small businesses. The undergraduate student Levitsky did not stand aside either.

The hustle and bustle around their own business took a lot of effort, cost and time. But the result was funny and bitter. After that, Andrei felt that he was again drawn to the writing table. More precisely - for the computer. The surrounding reality irritated the former businessman to a greater extent than attracted him. In 2002, Levitsky's story appeared on the pages of the Threshold magazine under the title “Almost complete darkness. A shaman has come. " And two years later, a children's novel in the fantasy genre "Kuksa and Solar Magic" was published as a separate book.
