Lolita Torres was born on March 26, 1930 in the city of Buenos Aires in an ordinary family. Mother gave her early to dance classes, singing. At the age of 5-7, Lolita already participated in the performances of folk dances (she was a soloist). In 1937, she began to study Spanish dance at a specialized school. At the age of 11, at the insistence of her mother, she took part in the competition for talented children, which was held by the radio station 'SplendidRadio'.
