Many children of artists spend their childhood behind the scenes, and then follow in the footsteps of their parents. However, there are exceptions - for example, Elena, the daughter of the famous Mikhail Ulyanov.
Elena was born in 1959 in Moscow, in the family of Ulyanov and actress Alla Parfanyak. We can say that from the very birth, her parents protected her from the theater, because they did not want a difficult acting fate for her. Therefore, Alla Petrovna's mother came to help Alla Petrovna, and the housekeeper also helped with the housework. The family had another child - the son of Alla Parfanyak from his marriage with Nikolai Kryuchkov, also Nikolai. The whole family was housed in a small two-room apartment.
Lena was very painful as a child, so my mother left the theater, although she was in great demand. Alla Petrrovna was very worried about this, but her daughter's health was more important to her than her career. "Star Father" played in the theater, acted in films, but devoted all his free time to his daughter.
Lena studied at a prestigious French school, and then she herself transferred to a simple school - she showed character. She did not hide the fact that she wanted to continue the acting dynasty, but Mikhail Alexandrovich dissuaded her and advised her to study as an artist. Moreover, she has already graduated from art school.
The artist's way
Elena entered the Polygraphic Institute and became a graphic artist. Already during her studies at the university, her talent for drawing became noticeable, and after her studies she was hired by the newspaper "Arguments and Facts". And the most favorite pastime for Elena was the creation of author's etchings.
Moreover, these were magnificent works, and they began to invite the young artist to exhibitions in the country, and later abroad. Now Elena Mikhailovna is grateful to her father for his foresight, because it was thanks to him that she took place as an artist, journalist and founder of the foundation.
The Elena Ulyanova Foundation is a separate topic. The girl saw how hard life is for actors after retirement, if they cannot work. Therefore, she organized the People's Artist of the USSR Foundation together with the newspaper Argumenty i Fakty. The Foundation supports actors in need, and also makes sure that the memory of the actors lives on among the people. Thus, the foundation financed the erection of monuments to Vyacheslav Nevinny, Igor Starygin and Mikhail Ulyanov. Also in her father's hometown, she opened his memorial museum, where townspeople and tourists can see the house in which the famous artist spent his childhood.
Personal life
After graduation, Elena married Sergei Markov, the son of a famous Russian poet. He traveled to different countries from the Ogonyok magazine, conducted literary programs and was a very interesting person. Elena fell in love, and in 1982 she married Sergei. Two years later, their daughter Lisa was born. She had a congenital heart defect and her parents worked hard to cure her. Mikhail Aleksandrovich provided special assistance, having achieved treatment abroad - the girl recovered. Elena and Sergey lived together for 8 years and divorced.
After this marriage, Elena was married twice. And then she became a grandmother - Lisa gave birth to twins in 2007. The family of the Ulyanovs continues, and Elena Mikhailovna has a lot of plans ahead of her as a hobbyist and as president of the People's Artist of the USSR Foundation.
