The talented and outwardly attractive vocalist and artist Georgy Koldun is called one of the most successful Belarusian performers. At the same time, he was and remains a very closed person in matters of life outside the stage.
Georgy Alexandrovich is the older brother of the popular pop singer Dmitry Koldun. At home, the artist enjoys both well-deserved popularity and the love of fans. The TV presenter and singer himself is in no hurry to challenge the established image of a successful prince, joking that he is kind and calm if he is not angry and does not get on his nerves.
Searching for a vocation
The biography of the future celebrity began in 1976. The boy was born on December 9 in Minsk. He was the first child in a family of teachers. In 1985, the younger brother Dima was born. The relationship between the children was friendly and warm. Georgy helped take care of the baby, walked with him, played. Even Zhora came up with the name for his brother.
The future artist became interested in music as a child. His parent had quite a few high-quality recordings. He instilled in the eldest son a taste for them. The teenager himself learned to play the guitar in the 9th grade, he loved to sing to its accompaniment. He did this exclusively for pleasure, but realized that he would like to make such creativity a matter of life.
Zhora attended a regular school, not standing out among his peers. He was actively involved in sports, attended javelin throwing sections, studied dancing and figure skating.
The tall guy successfully played volleyball, but with enthusiasm he had to leave after being injured. Because of her, George was unable to learn karate.
The parents broke up when their son was finishing school. The elder stayed with his father. In 1993 he decided to continue his education at the State University of Belarus. He chose the Faculty of Geography. The young man continued to study vocals and music on his own. He did not receive a professional education in this area.
Carier start
The first composition was written after the first year of university. The source of inspiration was love. The student finished his studies with honors. In 1998 he entered graduate school, where he remained until 2000. From 2001 he decided to realize his childhood dream of the stage.
Representatives of the modeling business drew attention to an attractive and tall guy. George was invited to the agency of Sasha Varlamov. Demonstrated the Sorcerer clothes and hairstyles. In 2006 he won the republican competition in the category "Superphoto model of Belarus"
After graduation, Georgy taught ecology and geography in schools. For five years he went to the children's health camp "Brigantina" to work as a teacher. Gradually the understanding grew that his calling was a stage. In 2004, the debut studio samples were made in the form of recordings of the songs "Snow" and "I only want to say". After them, work began on the creation of their own compositions, and creative experiments began.
In 2007, George was invited to the republican television. He became the host of the intellectual game "One Against All". In this capacity, the artist stayed until 2014.
The vocalist managed to visit the presenter and radio ONT, "Alpha". Georgy took part in the vocal competition "Slavianski Bazaar-2007" and in the selection. He became the first among all arrivals to compete in the performing arts of young singers. Then he took part in the musical "Pavlinka-new" in the image of Yakim Soroka, the beloved of the main character of the TV show. The selection for Eurovision took place.
Success
In 2008, for the first time, the Sorcerer presented his album "Fragments" to the audience. The vocalist himself supervised the design, stylistics and even the compilation. He also acted as a producer. For most of the songs, both words and music were created by George. The debut was noticed. The sorcerer began to receive invitations to concerts, his songs were played on the air. The singer gave over 200 concerts in Belarus.
The artist took part in television projects, hosted several competitive shows. Among the latter were both "Miss Belarus 2010" and the show "Phenomenon". Georgy worked on the image himself. He is sure that if something needs to be done efficiently, then it is pointless to shift such a responsibility even to professionals. Yes, and according to the recognition of the star, only events can infuriate him, which she cannot influence even with a great desire.
At the Televershina contests in 2010 and 2011, the Sorcerer won the Audience Award and was awarded the Golden Ear Prize as the best TV presenter. In 2013 Georgy took part in the TV show "The Voice". And since 2015 in the musical "Scarlet Sails" has been playing the role of Gray.
In 2014 Georgy's new disc "Stereoray" was released. As before, most of the compositions were created by him.
In 2014 he became the winner of the international song contest "Discovery" in Varna. At the prestigious international competition of the same format in Malta "FiKM 2013", the Sorcerer took third place.

George does not like to talk about his personal life. He is sure that fans can know everything about the stage life, but private life is the secret of the artist. The singer is very wary of questions about creating a family. He fears a mistake, and therefore is unmarried.
Although he is not going to hide many of his hobbies. George does not leave sports. He goes to the gym. The Sorcerer loves swimming. He considers sport not a duty to keep in shape, but a pleasure, but an obligatory pleasure.
