On February 21, 1957, in Lytkarino near Moscow, the future father-battalion commander of the Russian show business Nikolai Rastorguev was born into a family of workers (a driver and a seamstress).
Childhood, adolescence and adolescence
His childhood years were no different from the childhood of ordinary boys of those years. In his free time, he played various yard games, or with his friends made secret trips to the nearby forest, or to places where there were unfinished construction sites. He often received scolding from his father for these outings, as well as for poor academic performance. At school, he was considered a solid C grade, receiving "three" in all subjects, and at the same time in behavior. But, despite the problems with education, in addition to street hobbies, he read a lot, studied drawing and mastered playing the guitar.
After school, under the pressure of his parents, he entered the Technological Institute of Light Industry in Moscow. It was boring for him to study, he was often absent from classes until the university administration decided to fight the truants by not paying them scholarships. The head of the group gave information about all the passes to the dean of the faculty. And Rastorguev did not find anything more suitable than to deal with the informer with the help of fists. On this his studies at the university came to an end, and he began to work as a mechanic at the Lytkarinsky Institute of Aviation Motors.
Creative activity
Nikolai became seriously interested in music after watching a film dedicated to the Beatles - "An Evening of a Hard Day." He made a huge impression on the teenager. He began to devote more time to playing the guitar, despite the fact that he considered himself devoid of both hearing and voice. But those around him thought differently, and the musical ensemble, which played on the basis of the culture center in Lyubertsy, accepted him into their team because of his good vocals. During his creative career, Rastorguev had a chance to perform in several popular groups:
VIA "Six Young" - as a vocalist. The group "Leisya, song" - as a vocalist. Cooperation with this collective was short-term, since it was disbanded at the direction of the ruling authority. Group "Rondo" - as a bass player.
While working with "Rondo", Rastorguev began to think about creating his own musical group, the basis of the repertoire of which will be patriotic songs. His acquaintance with producer Igor Matvienko made this dream come true, and the Lube group was born. The first works of the group immediately won great people's love, and already in 1989 the collective was invited to Alla Pugacheva for the famous program "Christmas Meetings". From that moment, the image and style of Nikolai began to form. The first disc of the group under the short name "Atas" was recorded in 1991. The song that gave it its name became a popular hit, and the group quickly began to gain popularity among music lovers who liked songs imbued with love for their homeland and their roots. In total, the group has 16 albums, and Nikolai, plus, has released two more solo discs dedicated to his beloved Liverpool four.
In addition to his musical career, Rastorguev was the host of the "Things of War" program, starred in films and TV series, and also participated in theatrical production of the Theater. V. Mayakovsky. In his collection of titles received there are titles of Honored and People's Artist of Russia.
Personal life
Nikolai Rastorguev was married 2 times, the result of the marriages was the birth of two sons - Pavel and Nikolai. The first time he decided to leave his bachelor life in 1976, when he was 19 years old. He knew his future wife before marriage for four years - they lived in the same yard. Valentina was, of course, considered the brightest girl among her friends, she was engaged in a dance circle and connected her further destiny with choreography. They met at a teenage get-together, where sympathy immediately flared up between them. Nikolai drove all admirers away from Valentina, for this he even had to participate in fights. The children began to be friends, and as soon as Valentine reached the age when it was possible to marry, they immediately signed.
They had to change several apartments until they received their own housing. They went through difficult times, when both did not have permanent jobs and they were interrupted by odd jobs. Valentina never put pressure on Nikolai, did not bombard him with reproaches for the fact that he could not feed his family. She believed that he was talented and would achieve great success.
The long-awaited moment came when Rastorguev became the lead singer of the Lyube group. The family began to live in abundance, but constant rehearsals and tours soon led the spouses to divorce, as on one of their trips Rastorguev met Natalia, a costume designer of the Zodchie group, who was opening for Lube. As a result, having lived together for 15 years, the couple of Valentina and Nikolai broke up, and Rastorguev, without wasting time, immediately entered into a second marriage.
Natalia and Nikolay are happy to this day. They are the owners of a wonderful country house. Natalia is proud of her origin - she comes from a working-class family, just like her husband. She can do a lot with her own hands, without involving outsiders. Nikolai believes that the construction of the house is entirely the merit of his wife, and in this process he played the role of an ordinary observer. The couple coped with the artist's serious illness together when he needed a kidney transplant. But everything ended in the best possible way, and Rastorguev continues to perform and tour. They are not going to get divorced.
Political activity
In 2006, Rastorguev joined the United Russia party, as, according to him, this organization is a serious force on the political Olympus and is capable of introducing correct reforms for the good of the country from an economic and ideological point of view. He actively participated in her election campaigns and in 2010 became a deputy. In the Duma, he became a member of the Committee dealing with the cultural life of the country.
Currently, Nikolai Rastorguev continues to enjoy immense popularity and demand. He appreciates that at home, always, wherever he returns, a loving wife and son are waiting for him. In 2005, Rastorguev became the grandfather of the adorable granddaughter of Sofia. In life, he achieved everything he wanted. He became recognized, his name is still heard today. But there is still something that he would like to change. According to him, if he had a chance, he would try to be the best father for his sons. They grew up good people, but the singer believes that his role in this matter was insignificant. Now he would try with all his might to give them much more.
