Jim has 2 older brothers, so he never got bored as a child. Boys constantly got into stories and gave their parents a lot of trouble.

Jim's work education began quite early. Parents sent the child to work when he was still a student at school. The boy first worked at the post office and was engaged in delivering letters and newspapers. Later he got a job at McDonald's.

After completing his primary education, the young man went to Western Australia, where he entered the Academy of Performing Arts - the Academy of theatrical arts. He failed to receive a diploma. Jim decided to pursue a career and left the academy shortly before graduation. He spent his first performances as a stand-up comedian in Sydney, then went to England, and later to America.

Creative way

An interesting incident helped to attract close attention to Jeffries. At a performance in a Manchester club, the young man was attacked. This case received widespread publicity. Later, the video of the attack was included in the 2008 CD "Contraband". Jim himself commented on the incident with humor. The comedian's performance was shown on one of the American television channels, which added to Jim's popularity.
