Step 1
First, introduce yourself, tell us where and when you were good. Start your autobiography with the words: "I, Ivanova Larisa Nikolaevna, was born on March 17, 1982 in the city of Leningrad." Then, on the official paper, write the address of your registration at the place of residence (registration).
Step 2
Next, in chronological order, describe the main milestones of your life: where you studied (sometimes school education is indicated, in other cases only studying in a secondary specialized or higher institution matters), when you were in military service, where you did practice and / or worked. If an autobiography is provided for a potential job, try to reflect the key points of your professional path in it, but do not completely duplicate the resume - it will already be in the hands of the recruiter.
Step 3
In conclusion, describe the marital status and composition of the family, the age and occupation of your loved ones. For example: “I am married, my wife is Inna Alekseevna Petrova, born in 1984, a process engineer, my son is Ilya Vadimovich Petrov, born in 2008”. Indicate the contacts by which you can be contacted. You can indicate your full professional experience and current place of work (if any).

In a business autobiography, the vernacular style, the use of tropes, epithets and verbal embellishments are inappropriate. A creative biography is another matter: when submitting, along with an application for the competition (writers, poets, artists, designers, etc.), brief information about yourself, try to highlight interesting moments in your life so that the biography attracts attention to your work. In such a document, you can indicate that you graduated from high school without any zeal, but with great passion you went to an "artist" or a theater studio.
