The aspiring actress's memorable appearance quickly attracted the attention of directors. Zacharias immediately offered the graduate a leading role in his film "The End and the Beginning". The film was shot in the strict style of documentary cinema. The tape became a successful film debut for Klimova.
In 1964, she starred in the role of Olga in the film Comrade Arseny about Frunze's activities in Ivanovo-Voznesensk during the first Russian revolution.

The action takes place around talented young physicist friends. Both are busy studying thunderstorms. They dream of controlling the weather. Their scientific paths are gradually diverging. Dangerous experiments at first turn out to be forbidden, then they are nevertheless allowed.
