Biography
Galina Danielevna Klimova was born in the capital of Russia. It happened on December 15, 1947. At birth, she bore the surname Zlatkina. The girl's parents were Soviet employees. Since 1948, the family has lived in the city of Noginsk, which is located near Moscow.
She went to study at the school named after V. G. Korolenko. This school has a special history.
It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. It was originally built as a girls' gymnasium. Soon (1921) it was named after V. G. Korolenko, which has survived to this day. At the end of the century, the gymnasium was given a special status. The status consisted in the fact that the children studying there studied foreign languages in depth, which was also done by young Galina.
Education
Until 1968, Galina lived and studied in Noginsk. Then, after graduating from the gymnasium, she entered an equally prestigious educational institution - the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. V. I. Lenin. She graduated in 1972. Later she continued her education at the A. M. Gorky Literary Institute.
Career
Galina Danielevna started writing very early. Her first works were published in the newspaper "Banner of Communism", where she herself participated in the literary association. The debut took place in 1965. After her debut, she began to publish in many literary publications in the city of Noginsk. Large central publications such as Sovetskaya Rossiya, Literaturnaya Gazeta, Znamya Kommunizma, and others also eagerly published her works. Many literary almanacs and anthologies contain the works of Klimova. She herself is the compiler of an anthology of women's poetry entitled “Moscow Muse. XVII-XXI ". “From the Life of the Garden of Eden” this name was given to her Russian-Bulgarian anthology.
Galina Danielevna's poems are read in Russia and far beyond its borders. She composes a lot, does translations. Klimov translates mainly Slavic poetry.
