The actress Svetlana Tormakhova is familiar to Russian theater and film lovers for her vivid images, in which she invariably embodied strong female characters and tremendous fortitude. For ten years, Svetlana Dmitrievna served at the Vakhtangov Theater, playing a huge number of roles.
For the actress, cinema has become another opportunity for self-expression and inspiration from creativity. In her filmography, there are more than fifty works in the cinema, but, as a true actress, Svetlana Tormakhova continues to act in films, despite her considerable age. The best films with her participation are considered the tapes "Guys!" (1981) and Assa (1987), as well as the TV series Walking Through the Torment (1977).
Biography
Svetlana Tormakhova was born in 1947 on Sakhalin. Her father was a military pilot, so the family often moved to his destination. Svetlana spent her childhood in the Volyn region, in the west of Ukraine. She graduated from high school in the city of Lutsk. She was a lively girl, she loved to read poetry in front of an audience. Therefore, the parents were not surprised when their daughter once said that she wanted to become an artist.
From Lutsk, Svetlana went to Moscow and from the first time she entered the Shchepkin Theater School. She dreamed of studying here, but somehow she did not take root in the school. And two years later she transferred to Shchukinskoye.
In 1973, after graduating from "Pike", Svetlana entered the service at the Vakhtangov Theater, and her theatrical life began. It was a time of inspiration, desire to work and give all of yourself to the theater. As Svetlana Dmitrievna later recalled, she worked at the theater for wear and tear. Sometimes it happened that I had to play two performances a day, and they were all very serious!
Film career
Svetlana began acting in films when she was already under thirty. Her first role in the TV series "Walking Through the Torments" (1974) was very successful, so almost immediately Tormakhova was invited to shoot the serial film "Yurkin's Dawns", where the main role was played by Valery Ryzhakov.
The only problem was that the director did not let her leave the theater for shooting, and she had to work on weekends. But the film turned out to be excellent: it was enthusiastically received by the audience, and Svetlana herself became a celebrity.
After this success came roles in other films, in parallel Tormakhova played in the theater. And then a change happened in her life, which for a while forced the actress to quit her craft.
Personal life
In her youth, both fellow students and colleagues in the shop fell in love with Svetlana, but she always liked men much older than her. And now such a man met: elegant, effective and not very young. The romance was stormy, but ended in nothing.
Then there was a marriage, but Svetlana Dmitrievna does not name her husband's name, she simply says that he was a "good man." They had a son, Danila, but the family did not go well, and the couple parted.
The second husband of the actress is the artist Parviz Javid. He was a talented painter, but not at all adapted to life. For many years, Svetlana hoped that her husband would begin to behave like the head of the family, like a breadwinner and protector, but this did not happen, and Svetlana simply left.
The nineties came, it became very difficult for the actors to survive. Svetlana Dmitrievna started working as a networker, and one day she went on business to Turkey. The network business did not go there. Svetlana, disdaining all the difficulties, in the end still remained to live in Turkey.
There she met Bogatyr - her third husband. And then she went to Moscow to visit, and unexpectedly received an offer to act in films. This was the film "Assa-2" (2009). Behind this tape there were roles in the films "Classmates" (2010), "Leave to Return" (2014) and others.
Since then, Moscow has been holding on, not letting go, occasionally pleasing, albeit episodic, but still interesting roles.
