The French genius was born in 1838. Georges (this name was given to the musician at his baptism) grew up in a family of musicians, and it was this atmosphere that influenced the boy to associate himself with music in the future. Bizet was so talented that he entered the Paris Conservatory at the age of 9. It was here that he developed his virtuoso abilities.

During his studies, Bizet realizes that he can become a composer, and begins to write his first compositions. He knew how to compose impeccable music for choirs. Passionate works of the musician of the period of romanticism were distinguished by special power and unique motives. It is precisely because of the uniqueness of Bizet's composition that it is impossible to confuse it with the compositions of other authors.

Georges has been repeatedly awarded prizes, and one of the most memorable is the Rome Prize for the operetta Doctor Miracles. Another masterpiece of the maestro was the work "Perth Beauty", which is performed in different languages of the world to this day. As for the most basic creation, Bizet began to create "Carmen" already in 1874.

In just a year, the composer managed to write such a large-scale work that the whole world gave a standing ovation. The premiere took place in a Spanish theater, but then the audience and music critics received the masterpiece without enthusiasm.

All this negatively affected the health of the composer, who died in 1875 due to a heart attack. Unfortunately, Georges never saw how, years later, his truly powerful, unique and mesmerizing work would take first places among the masterpieces of classical music with a very high rating.
