Pavel Kashin began building his career in the distant 90s. But he, unlike many colleagues in the music shop, still continues to collect huge halls and pleases his fans with new compositions. Pavel is an original performer. He never copied anyone. And even the most picky music researchers cannot find repetitive motives in his work.
From the biography of Pavel Petrovich Kashin
Pavel Kashin (the real name of the performer is Kvasha) was born on March 4, 1967 in Kustanai (Kazakhstan). The future popular singer and composer grew up with his sister in an intelligent family far from creativity. Pavel's parent worked at the airport. As a child, Pavlik from morning till night played with friends in the yard, doing his favorite things. He considers his childhood happy.
The upbringing on the part of the parents was not very strict. They tried to support the children in all their endeavors. Children grew up in an atmosphere of kindness, love and justice. Therefore, even now, Paul most of all appreciates the responsiveness and warmth of relations in people.
The beginning of the creative career of Pavel Kashin
A passion for the world of music manifested itself in Pavel in his youth. He entered the music school, and in 1986 became the owner of the diploma of conductor of musical orchestras. At the age of 14, Pavel had already tried to earn money by performing at weddings. In those years, he really liked the work of the rock groups "Resurrection" and "Picnic".
Behind Pavel's shoulders is his studies at the Conservatory and the Academy of Arts. Kashin also attended lectures at the Faculty of Philosophy. However, the fine arts and works of famous philosophers were not to his liking: studies in these institutions lasted no more than six months.
Upon reaching the military age, Paul went to serve in the army. Here he was not too lucky: he was sent to a military construction regiment, which was formed from former prisoners and from those who passed the penal battalion. But every cloud has a silver lining: in the army, Pavel learned to play the saxophone and, at the request of the military authorities, mastered more than a dozen marches.
The path to musical heights
After being transferred to the reserve, Pavel went to Leningrad. Here he earned his bread in the sweat of his brow, playing the saxophone in the subway and on the streets. Subsequently, he joined the musical group "Spirits". With solo programs, Pavel begins performing in 1991. Around the same time, he took on the creative pseudonym "Kashin". Under this name in 1992 he released the vinyl disc "Gnomes".
Since that time, Kashin's popularity has steadily grown. Pavel's calling card was the song "City", which was included in his first disc. A video was shot for this composition, which was played many times on music channels.
Having risen to the top of the charts, Kashin left for the United States, where he mastered English and studied American poetry at one of the universities. With teachers, he more than once paid off with lessons on sound recording.
In the following years, Kashin released several albums. In 1998, he visited his homeland for a short time, but then returned overseas again. In 2017, the singer recorded his 20th album. Experts note that each of his works is not similar to the previous one, although it is difficult to confuse Kashin's voice with the voices of other performers.
Kashin prefers to remain silent about his personal life. It is known that he was married for about eight years. The singer has a son and a daughter.
