From the biography of Randy Gage
Randy Paul Gage was born on April 6, 1959 in the American city of Madison, Wisconsin. He did not know his father. The children were raised by their mother, Kay Gage. The family had two more children - the elder brother of the future successful entrepreneur Jay and the younger sister Liz.
As a teenager, Randy "went downhill": he had serious problems with the law, he drank and dabbled in drugs. He was kicked out of school. As a fifteen-year-old boy, Gage was caught burglary and armed robbery, after which he ended up in prison. He led the life of a typical loser.
A radical turn in Gage's life took place in 1974. It all started with a visit to the prison of his friend's father, Mr. Baxter Richardson. The elderly teacher got acquainted with the criminal case, talked with those who knew Gage. Then there was a conversation, during which Richardson instilled in Randy the confidence that a great future awaits him. This conversation changed Gage's attitude towards himself and the world in which he lived.
Gage starts a new life
In 1975, sixteen-year-old Randy Gage was paroled and decided to start life anew. He moved to Miami. Here Randy began to work: he washed dishes in Florida restaurants, then became a manager. Hard work and perseverance in achieving goals soon made Gage the owner of a small restaurant chain Mr. Pizza.
When Gage was 30 years old, his movable business property was seized by the tax office for debts and put up for auction. The young businessman lost his job. It had a solid debt on it. To survive, Gage sells his furniture. In these difficult conditions, Randy seriously thinks about the principles of prosperity, begins to study the philosophy of life success.
